MEDITATION AND MINDFULNESS FOR THE ACTIVIST 10-12
Based on the work of Joanna Macy and other Ecopsychologists, the workshop leads participants through a series of activities to reconnect with themselves, nature, and their inner responses to Ecological stress and other social justice issues, thus empowering themselves and one another through the sharing and processing of this vital connection. We will practice mindfulness and meditation as representations of our awareness of the interconnectedness and interdependence of all life on Earth. The work seeks to strengthen our sense of connection and therefore our ability to act on behalf of the Earth and her people.
